I have a friend who is considering having implants but shes worried by tales that she will lose all sensitivity in her breasts and/or nipples if she does, and as she is currently very sensitive there she is worried of losing that- does anyone have any experience of this or advice i can pass on? thanks

thanks for that answer

where'd you have them done? (if you dont mind answering that) and how did they go in to do them as there seem to be different ways of them being put in? (which presumably cause the different potential loss of sensation/or not?)

I'm not in favour of implants as a general rule, I just don't like they way they look. That said...

Bottom line, this is elective surgery, same as any other. Do the research, know what your getting into, check out the people who'll be doing the job and remember - you get what you pay for.
