Lots of pubs and bars to suit all tastes; most centred around Northgate Street and Foregate Street.

Two places of note are the LA - Liverpool Arms, a gay pub,and the Commercial hotel, with a shared courtyard, used for discos and BBQ in summer. Live DJ on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
