There is a nice steak house called The Forge in Derby centre if you want a nice meal. X

Matlock is a nice place to enjoy nature.

My advice would be to stay out of Derby it's a shit hole. If you want to get mugged, see loads of crackheads and spice heads, and the place is dead now.

Get yourself out to lovely places like Matlock, Matlock Bath, Bakewell, & Belper. Lots of things to do round the Peak District.

If you wanted to go just out of derby for food, a nice walk, and few drinks, hop on the sky link bus to shardlow, as its lively, by the river, and canal, and lots if pubs to choose from, of which most do home cooked food at decent prices

We had our end of financial year work do in the city centre a couple of months ago. An account manager for one of our suppliers attended and was mugged by three Romanian women!
