I agree there can be alot of pushy guys out there at times, they soon get bored though and go elsewhere . There is a couple of places i go every week and always bump into couples out. Some play and some don't, just like anywhere can be hit and miss. I've also found going later on in the evening can be better

I have been dogging for nearly 30 years... the internet broke dogging as sites are published and are used by mainly gays/trans and pushy people who have no respect.

I remember spending ages parked in joy lane in burtonwood... now it's omega business estate, but it was great fun. No internet so you turn up and wait... a few cop visits but largely we were left to play

We did wonder between ourselves while we were waiting what the etiquette is if someone does turn up; how do you make it clear that you’re interested in them watching/participating without opening your car window and shouting “oi, mate, want to play with my partners boobs?”

I've seen a few messages recently (including on this post) asking about dogging etiquette and signs.

In replying to one couple, I thought my answer might help others. I'm writing from a single straight male perspective, looking for couples, so others may want to add to it.

1) Timing - Usually after dark works best. Well known spots can be busy with people who just cruise about endlessly so I tend to head for spots that are quieter or have potential. Even well known spots quieten down after 10:30 (I assume as married fellas run out of excuses to be out)

2) Good single males will be patient. They will usually signal interest by a quick flash of the headlights or interior light. In addition, I tend to get out of the car, stand by it so I am fully visible and then a couple can check me out fully.

3) I won't approach unless I get an indication. This is often the male partner getting out and saying hello, but could be a reciprocal flash of a light.

4) If I see a signal, I will cautiously approach. I say cautiously because there are knobheads around who want to cause trouble.

From there it's 'play it by ear', but here is my understanding of the 'rules'.

Keep the interior light out and I will loiter and watch. It's obviously harder to see but I appreciate that some people don't like to be too lit up and obvious. I will usually take a lead from the couple, so if playing stops or there is a hand gesture I will back off or go further depending on the gesture.

Interior lights on means you definitely want to be watched. I will approach closer and if it's quiet / safe I would usually take this as a sign to touch myself whilst watching. Again a polite but firm gesture tells me what to do next.

Window down at any point is taken as an invitation to touch or be touched. I'd usually put my hands through the window or the couple indicate if they want to touch me. We go from there.

Door open is usually an invitation to go further. Going down on the female becomes an option here as does penetration.

Generally, I find talking helpful, once initial nervousness is gone. Just say what you want to happen - for both parties.

I'm cautious of movement in and out of the spot. Cars may come and go and I tend to return to my car or walk around. No one needs to stumble across something unexpected.

As I say, I'm obviously writing this from a single male heterosexual perspective assuming I am looking for couples. Couples or gay / bi people may have a different perspective or approach.

If I'm a car park late at night I'm probably there in hope. It's definitely a game of patience. Patience in waiting for a couple who want to play; and patience in watching the merry-go-round.

Some "don'ts" for me include

1) Parking too close the the car you are interested in. Give it time.

2) Full beam headlights, even if its dark. Give it time.

3) Approaching without signal. Give it time.

4) Did I mention - just give it time!

I've seen all sorts over the years, so feel free to ask any other questions. I'm not discussing locations on the forum.

Idiots live streaming has caused most places to vanish. Sale water park use to be pretty active and never had a bad time there until recently, and twice some non head has got there phone and and live streamed, filming all the regs etc.

I’ve given up on public dogging, but my mate has some land down near haslingdon, he’s fenced it off and invites me down now and again for some private dogging, although it’s not the same

I use to love the mystery of it all, the “do they don’t they” want me to play, however drive down to my mates land, and 9/10 times it’s a lady who just wants cock and because it’s fenced off, it’s just outdoor sex but private, so takes all the fun out of it (not complaining like, but does take the risk out of it which was part of the thrill)

See my post above for some do's and don'ts. I won't share any locations on the forum but I have a few favourite haunts I can share privately. Just drop me a dm.

If I can give some advice, it would be to be clear about what you want or would like before you venture out.

There is a world of difference between different types of meet and what you need out of a location. For example....

Some like to turn up, attract a crowd and put on a show. In this case you would need to know how far you want to go and how to set ground rules, because people will be all too eager. Visiting popular spots after dark is your target here, and depending on how bold you are, there are easy signals you want to be watched or play.

Others prefer the thrill of chance. Quieter, less used spots or later at night, lots of waiting. In this case, enjoying outdoor sex together and accept that you may not get watchers, but give some signal if you want interested and wait for others to engage. You may need to talk to people on the night to establish this, although experience folks will know the signs. Personally, this is my preference. Not knowing adds to the experience.

Finally, the pre-arranged meet. Here you can control the scenario, message back and forth and pretty much any location will work for you.

This is exactly how it used to be 10 years ago people understood what was happening then. As a keen dogger it’s happened to have a lot of idiots who haven’t a clue and don’t give people a chance to even have a little kiss before there at the win do the key to dogging was being patient. Spent many of hours sat in places to get fun now people are to eager. Which is scarring people away.

I went to Preston docks once I was at a single party Saturday night there in the afternoon food drinks then party chatting with people a female was looking at me I went to the bar she stood next to me are you alone yes it’s a single party I am here with a friend he is over there he is called mark. Not so much disappeared it’s more that known locations are literally top secret - the usual “well known” locations of times gone by ended up being overrun with single males. I always go as a couple and not keen to be watched by half a dozen scruffy men shooting their load all over my car windows.

I’d suggest try finding a single woman on here to venture out as a couple!?

I found a couple on here a few years ago who we ended up meeting and that led to us having a few of their dogging friends on our WhatsApp list.

Stick at it I absolutely love a good dogging meet - dogging is such a weird phrase to use 😂

There have been a few messages from newbies recently. There is some decent advice further up this thread, but here's what I would say in addition....

There's no shortcuts. The likelihood of turning up, finding your perfect scenario and then going home again is very small. In a way, that's the point.

For me, the process of dogging is what is appealing. Turn up somewhere quiet, assess who is around, try and work out if they are interested. If not, enjoy the solitude and laugh at people coming and going, and then coming back again.

My experience says that you have to spend a lot of nights trying out different spots at different times, and even then it can be hit and miss. People don't generally go to the same place at the same time so there are lots of variables.

Arranged meets are good, but have a very different vibe. I find it enjoyable to meet new people, and am pretty chill about how it plays out.

So, no guarantees, no shortcuts but a lot of fun along the way. Hope that helps.

I used to go to a north west area regularly few yr ago with a fb, it was ok and had fun,however some morons drew lot of attention to the place, one day nice weather a bloke was walking down the lane nowt on.

Police were called by some locals who had kids with them then place was on police radar and locals went and parked up and took car regs and gave all to police, who in turn parked up in unmarked cars.

So that put me off it.

Going back some years now me and a girl I was seeing at the time needed some 'privacy' as we didn't live together but a friend of hers at work told her of a 'secluded,quiet' place where nobody will bother you (just off Grane Rd. Haslingden) we'd only been there like 10-15 minutes and had noticed couple other cars coming in to little car park,so we decided to 'adjust' clothing and see what was going on outside our car..shock horror !! LOL. We'd only stumbled our way on to a local,popular dogging spot.

Hence to say we made a sharp exit !
