Noticed that Birdlip Viewpoint Closing down whilst they build the new bypass. Where will Glos doggers go now? Xx

Painswick beacon is where the missus and I usually go now but it's not got a lot of people going there. Some people mentioned A38 layby but it's not really to our taste. Need to try selsley again at some point because that used to be good years ago. Very much open to suggestions

Pretty sure they put cameras into the woods before they closed the viewpoint and it died a death after that. Same as the really visible camera in A38 lay by. Had some fun at Coaley Peak in recent years on the picnic tables

When I used to meet up there, it was a mainly a meeting point. We went to many other spots afterwards. When passing in the day time, I still notice cars parked at the viewpoint.
