we have noticed that the use to be a couple of socials but the don't seem to have a venue at the moment. so the have stopped running them.

Why not have a pub social in or near Wateringbury. Then if anyone wants to you can move on to Pleasures for some fun, or if not you can just stay in the pub. That way you have options.

Hi there, just reading through the thread and I think this is a fabulous idea. Is there a specific day / time that works for the majority? If we can figure that out I'm sure a venue can be decided on quite quickly. Happy to manage the logistics of it all if that helps?

Personally, I'm fine either way i.e. club meet vs elsewhere. Hopefully if we can get a right mix of couples and singles it can be a great event that hopefully can be done on a more regular basis.

If I can get a thumbs up from those interested, I can set up a WhatsApp / Kik group and we can get the ball rolling from there. I'm sure that will be easier in terms of getting quicker responses as admittedly we're not all on fab or get notifications from updates to this thread.

I would be up for this too. Ashford has lots of pubs, nit sure about live music though. Canterbury is probably better.
