Heres a question for you lot, if you were bestmates with someone for 30+ years and found out he became a stinking rich multi-millionaire early last year but did not tell you.

Would you be mad or am I over reacting here? Yes he is also on here but still acts like he is a poor working class male never shows off

If you're his best mate didn't you see him going down the road to success or did he get rich by winning the lottery or inheritance?

Most wealthy people don't become rich in a short period of time.

If he's not showing any outward sign of wealth how do you know he has become rich?

Perhaps he gave it away to deserving causes?

He may be embarrassed and not want it to affect his relationships

Ultimately, it's healthy to respect differences and not to want others to conform to behaving in the way that we fantasise that we may do.

When very privileged, it's a relief to know that others like you for who you are, as a person, rather than any privileges you can vicariously or otherwise gain
