Actually quick question for you.

Got a knot in my shoulder blade early in the year after lifting something at an odd angle. I can feel the pain of the knot in a spot in my pectoral muscle too. Think a massage can sort this out or is this something I'm better going to a doctor about?

Yes, a sports massage therapist should be able to sort it out for you. It might take more than one session, depending on how deep / extensive it is.
