Morning all. Booked onto this - mainly for the music, but some other entertainment would be equally great!

Anyone else heading there?

It is an absolute rip off agreed. Loads more than the 80s ones anyway. I'm luckily sharing the cost with a few others!

I guess it gets more expensive the closer to the event. Will definitely keep an eye out for next year & have some other fab ears in mind who would have also loved this years line up.

Have a fantastic weekend & please report back!!

All booked up for my second time.

8 of us at £300 each. Booked last December.

A great price.

Would pay more than £300 for 3 night’s hotel accommodation on a weekend break, so to get accommodation and three days of brilliant music thrown in, it’s great value.

The 80s one had loads of fabbers, I'm guessing that this one will be more serious music fans. Did you find that too?

To be honest, the crowd I’m with is totally vanilla so didn’t even look last time - besides, there was too much going on!

Just hoping they get everything cleaned up and repaired in time after the weekend floods

Sure it'll be fine...unless another storm comes along, which u guess is also highly likely!

Any couples or ladies attending? Have a feeling it might be quite male heavy

From previous experience I would estimate it’s usually in region of 75/25% male to female, with a large part of the females being one half of a couple.

It’s a very different vibe to most of the Butlins adult weekends

I hope none of you have your breaks cancelled due to the damaged accommodation - they are letting people know today form what I’ve just read

I agree, the male / female ratio has got better the early years we’re a right sausage fest. But to be honest most people who go are music enthusiasts rather than, as you say the traditional Big Weekender customers.

I’ll be there, I’d not want to miss it and thankfully my accommodation isn’t affected

I think quite a few were cancelled, real shame, but this weather has been just wild this past couple of months.

Hopefully it'll be a good weekend, I'll report back
