Anyone else stuck in a sexiness, lifeless marriage and loath their partner?

Don’t know where to turn…stuck in a rut.

Sexless now for 4 years, sleep in separate rooms and only here for the kids.

‘Can’t you talk it out’ I hear people say? No we don’t talk, don’t communicate…. If fact live separate lives.

Only thing which connects us is the kids and finances. It can’t go on.

Now I have plenty of sex, but it costs me dearly if you know what I mean. It’s the only way I see pussy and ass.

How do I get out of this?? Think divorce is the only way but don’t want the kids impact.

We’ve both nearing 50, so chances of second chances are really limited. Don’t want another marriage, just to be wanted and loved.

How old are your children?

If you're genuinely at the end of your tether separation might be the best way forward. The problem there is always money. It's expensive to live alone, is it feasible for you? Could you negotiate an arrangement with your wife where you live completely separate lives in the same house, like a house share?

I don't know what else to tell you.

Money is not an issue, as we’re fairly well off. Thing is I want some happiness back in the life, without impacting unhappiness in my kids live and I’m only getting happiness through paying for it.

I’m trying to stay the course but it’s really difficult.

Anyway thank you again to those who gave some proper advice and not the usual unhelpful bile some provide.

I stayed longer than I should because I was worried about ‘breaking up the family home’ Ultimately I realised that I needed to leave before I had a breakdown, and that it’s my responsibility to show my children what a healthy relationship looks like.

Is it really better? All that does is teach them how to have a dysfunctional relationship. Better two happy parents living apart than two miserable ones living together 'for the sake of the kids'.

^^ people who've parents have split up often say it was for the best. I think that unless the split is handled very carefully from the children's point of view they'll be affected. Whether the effect is less than the parents staying together probably depends on the individual situation.

Hes posted a status complaining about not be able to post in forums or contact admin and wanting a refund on his membership… lol

Regarding advice, id agree with the above poster that recommended showing her your fab profile and pics. Theres your divorce right there.

Otherwise id recommend rather than asking fab what to do, try discuss it with her? Tell her how you feel about the marriage being a waste and it might be better off being alone. See what she says. She may turn around and start putting in effort if she realises the marriage is about to fail. Or you may finally reach a conclusion and agree to seperate. Either way it sounds like itd be a win situation for you.

And for the kids it sounds like they’d be better off with divorced parents. Seeing you sleep in different rooms and never being intimate will effect them. Not only make them upset right now but long term they wont know how to show love to their partners when they get married so your loveless marriage ends up being the reason they become divorcees.
