It's terrible, but whenever someone mentions Sunderland all I can think of is the Sunderland Tourist Board song that Bob Mortimer did:

"Come to Sunderland, it's so much more than a s**thole!, Change your name to Callum, you can do it by deed poll".

Worth looking up on YouTube if you've never heard it (and can take a joke).
