Don’t park on a grass verge if there is a double yellow line on the road. Everybody got a ticket last summer.

Go very early, leave very late. If the weather is passably good for the BH the roads will be rammed. There are 2 bottlenecks. 1.The ferry 2.the exit at Corfe Castle, B3351 onto A351. All parking will be taken, even in the Knolls, Shell Bay and Middle Beach car parks. If you are after 9.00am the roadside parking at the firebrake (FRP6) will be taken. We joined the NT just for the free car parks at Studland, and we have been going there for 30+ years. The naturist section of the beach is clearly marked, and as is usual as far away as possible. Not all the beach is clothing free. But be prepared, go early, take all your daily sustenances (the beach Ice Cream van no longer operates) and there are no facilities. If you pitch up on the beach you will be fine. If you decide to use the dunes (It can be very windy) you may attract a visitor or 3. Just be firm, either tell them to sit down, or go-away as you chose. Remember, you are in charge. They respect that. Enjoy the sunshine. If you want any more advice, just ask. xx

Ive only been there once, get there early, loads of traffic, best parking is NT car parks.

Naturist areas are clearly marked, I could'nt get over the amount of dog walkers / walking traffic on the beach
