Advice on the menopause

One for the ladies I think….

Wife is currently in the perimenopause stage and although has never had any sec drive whatsoever even from a young age, I simply can’t get near her at all.

I don’t pretend to understand what impact fhe change of life is having on her physical and mental state but she’s totally withdrawn.

My mates wife is also going through it and he said she’s turned from someone who had sex once per week to wanting it regularly, in fact is wanting to try different me.

Anyway, any advice is most welcome.

My wife's the same as your mates never wanted much now can't get enough even to the stage that we are looking at dogging sites in our area

Hormones have such a huge impact on sex drive, as you can probably imagine having zero drive is shit.

Has the Mrs looked into any treatments for the menopause? There are things to help, if you search menopause in the forums there's quite a few threads too that maybe a good read for you.

I've heard that oestrogen vaginal gel can work wonders for some women, and it has few side effects. Of course your lady would have to want to see the doctor about it

Hormones are a tricky think and can have a devastating effect on some women. There are over 43 symptoms of menopause…. It’s a pretty rubbish time for us ladies!

A lot of people think that testosterone is purely a male sex hormone and that’s not the case at all. It’s responsible for female sex drive too. Unfortunately It can only be given if a lady is already on standard HRT. Stress can have a huge impact on sex drive for some women too.

Your wife needs love and understanding, also reassurance. Maybe suggest she visits her GP if she’s experiencing other symptoms.

I hope your wife gets the help she needs and above all is happy with you discussing it on here OP.
