Read a very interesting article on the dynamic between relationship decline and infidelity.

Close to a 50/50 split between the infidelity being the cause of the relationship breaking down, and the infidelity being a consequence of the relationship declining (lack of intimacy, feeling valued & desired etc).

Thoughts?
