I know I’m not the first and I unfortunately won’t be the last but why do people think they have the right to abuse and judge people. I’m big, I know that but why did someone have to say they wouldn’t let the ‘obese lump near my wife’. I smile on the outside but I can cry on the inside. I thought this was a safe inclusive site, I’m not so sure now.

Thank you to everyone who has answered my original post and also those who have messaged me privately. I was at a low personally when I received the message and it hit particularly hard. The support shown here has helped enormously

I think a lot of people lack enough emotional intelligence, empathy or maturity to understand that they're sending hateful messages to actual people. They exist solely in their own bubble. I'm pretty sure if they were made to face the person they'd sent the message to and explain their actions they'd struggle to be quite so brave.

Good abuse by proxy is becoming a plight these day. People who do it, think that it is without consequence and do not realise the hurt that they cause. I use a wheelchair and the amount of crappie comments I receive is un called for.

I think a lot of people lack enough emotional intelligence, empathy or maturity to understand that they're sending hateful messages to actual people. They exist solely in their own bubble. I'm pretty sure if they were made to face the person they'd sent the message to and explain their actions they'd struggle to be quite so brave.
