Studland Beach Parking - Warning

Hi all, not sure where this should be posted so might post it in a couple of places. Anyone who has frequented Studland Naturist Beach will know that the majority of cars park on the side of the road to the Studland Ferry. Dorset Council have issued restrictions on this road and have threatened that vehicles will be towed and/or £1000 fines will be issued to anyone parking on the road OR the verge. This covers the whole stretch of road from the Ferry car park to Studland village itself.

Can anyone shed more light on this, I thought ax long as you were in the direction of traffic and not parked stupidly it was fine ,this was an issue before covid ,people getting tickets parked in opposite traffic side

Everywhere

As long as your vehicle is OVER the yellow line (clearly off the road) you’re fine, if you’re wheel is on or over it expect at least a ticket based on busy days last year

I Best start offering boat rides for access to the beach then, save the hassle of parking

This is correct.

Nothing has change from last year, just park within the yellow line.

I normally park on the dirt track on the ferry road , I Never gone over the yellow line or or path where people's can walk up and down or the worth thing block the fire extra gate like all the FRP gate , If you do then you will get towed a way , I would not know what the fine be , but I do know if you park overnight along the ferry road and get caught it £67 fine , Ok because I see it last year , So do you agree with me on this ???
