Thurrock

I thought it would be a good idea to compile a list of easy access hotels / possibly motel type of things across the U.K.

Where guests don't have to go through a reception and the room has its own private front door

I know of two in Essex

Harefield Manor in Romford has a couple of private access rooms

& the Ye Olde Plough in Bulphan, most rooms have private entrances

Please pop any you know of I'm the comments

Visiting Blackpool

Though we've never stayed in one, we've heard all Campanile hotels rooms are accessed from outside and you don't go through reception. The one we drive past does seem to have that layout.

Stayed in several, and can confirm all the ones l have stayed in, it's like a block of flats lay out, and no need to enter via a reception area

North Wales

The Campenile in Hull is very aware of its rooms easy access They were really hot on interrogating everyone who was heading to the rooms when we stayed there.

The one near Cardiff had no such supervision although the rooms were pretty grim.

Romford/Marbella

I’ve met few guys at the plough in Bulphan and did not have to go through reception. If I remember you do need a code to get out of the car park barrier?

Bristol/here and there

Village hotels are very good for this kinda thing as its pritty much a self check in service, they have a gym, bar and restaurant all onsite so people are coming and going all the time, all village hotels which are relativly new are designed all the same way
