Mistaken indentity

Someone has messaged my mate on here threatening, slandering and such but has the wrong individual, what should he do in that case?

He sent me the screenshots and even I know they have the wrong person

Any advice?

There's a report feature in messaging, might be worth using it in case they're doing it to others it can help Admin determine a pattern etc.
