Profile reading and friends requests

Why do so many people message with questions which are already answered in your profile. It really annoys us and is a total turn off from the start. Surely profiles are set up to answer most of the questions. Why do people also send friends requests without even messaging, surely people don't just accept them before chatting for a while.

A lot if members just don't bother to read profiles then wonder and moan why they get rejected.

I'd say 4/5 that message us haven't read it and our first line is read before messaging.

I read the profiles then look at the pictures, hubby looks at the pictures and forgets to read the profile.

I rest my case.

When I’ve challenged people on it, they’ve said that “they were just trying to break the ice,”

Think they just think you are going to change your mind for some reason, probably think they can talk you into changing it. I get sick of saying the same thing over and over lol.

Honestly I had the same thing the other week, now I’ve just decided to delete all my sexy pictures and just have me in normal clothes, because if you can’t read simple instructions then no pictures, simple as. And yes those people have ruined it for everyone

We have had two of them in the last couple of hours.

Simple answer really, the arseholes can't read. Thick as two short planks.

We put our photos out for everyone to enjoy and try our best to be kind, it just gets tedious at times we feel like parrots saying the same thing over and over again. Like you said people wonder why they are not getting replies, glad it not just me feeling like this.

Long profiles are a bit boring to read, so I personally don't bother. I don't bother either reading profiles with the pointless Sydney university ect bit at the bottom. That said I don't message or friends request the profile either.

I expect to chat about what people want/like in order to see if we are compatible for a meet. So asking questions is perfectly acceptable.

If you receive messages/ requests that break your personal rules ect, then just delete them. There's no need to get in a big stew about them, it comes with the territory..

Before asking questions like this I always try to put myself in the other person's shoes.

I constantly see women on here saying "they get more messages than they can read" now imagine that in the inverse and say you're a single guy who for every single person they message they have to spend 5 minutes reading a profile, then have to come up with a half decent message, then that message gets ignored anyway probably 9/10.

I do totally get it (even if I do believe you should probably read a profile if you're interested in that profile)

Not singling out single men at all here, a lot of the friends requests we get are from couples who have never spoken to us, also couples asking if just me (the girl) will meet on their own when we state that we don't meet separately on our profile.

I get friend requests from guys that have never even messaged. They either have no photos or a close up blurry dick pic.

I always read the profile first. Most profiles specify what they are and aren’t looking for and most times I either don’t have what they’re looking for or do have what they aren’t. Most common are people looking for well endowed men and/or dominant men and don’t like men with body hair or Bi men, all of which rule me out. I’d never disrespect someone and waste their time by messaging them when they clearly specify I’m not what they’re like for.

Everyone is in the same boat by the looks of it, it's good to know that it's not just couples.
