Can anyone tell me the parking situation for studland? I hear it can be a nightmare sometimes.

I am planning in going in a couple of weeks xx

We’re here at the minute and it seems to depend on the weather. A few days back it was rammed with long tail-backs. If it’s a so-so day it’s pretty straightforward to park at Knoll.

I am here right now and the Parking is ok along the ferry road from 7am to 11pm , You are not allowed to park overnight from 11pm to 7am otherwise you can get a ticket , Overnight parking anywhere in Swanage , So I don't have any problems

Thank you xx

You can park on ferry road. Nothing has changed except the council have put some lines on the road you have to park inside.

We went during the heatwave in July and had no problems parking on ferry road. We arrived around 1pm.

Hopefully going back by the end of the month depending on the weather.

Ditto - we were there yesterday and you could have heard a pin drop (at least you would have been able to if you could block out the sound of the waves). Naturist section of the beach was almost deserted even though the weather was great…

Get down early on sunny days and make sure you park on the side and not on the road. Theyve been buggers for towing and ticketing! It gets manic so be prepared for a hike to the gateway. I usually get there for about 0730 and save brekkie for the beach or dunes!

Anyone likely to be around tonight? Heading out for dinner with partner tonight in Poole and may have some al fresco fun after parking up on ferry road in the evening on the way back.
