Depends on budget - are you wanting Premier Inn type things? Mid-range? Luxury? Swimming pools? Etc?

Cork

Premier inn near picadilly stayed there loads of times. Fantastic amount of restaurants, shops and bars near or on the same road.

Sorry, trying to type quickly, but plenty of choice across budget or facilities ...watch out for when footy or any big gigs are back in as prices sky rocket...perhaps reserve now if no payment required and then read all reviews etc. If you are looking at getting around do check as someone has decided to dig the whole infrastructure system up at the same time...or so.it seems...

I would recommend having a look at Air BnB and you can full apartments to yourself on there...that way no hassle of the hotel being busy etc...

They're usually quite cheap and can get some nice ones, other than that maybe Ramada, Premier Inn or the Midland (if you can get it cheap)...theres also a holiday inn express on Oxford Rd.

Have a look at Hotel Gotham the service is awesome pricey but we think worth it. Other places we like are Hilton deansgate and Doubletree near Piccadilly station

We recently stayed at Hotel Velvet, and I wod highly recommend it. Its right on canal street so has a good vibe outside, they do a stay for free thing where you get the price of your room back to spend on food and drink.
