According to the pundits on the box he is, having said that I don't think Real Madrid think so or spurs come to think of it.

he’s a good player but not a superstar often injured and the Madrid fans don’t like him and looks like the manager doesn’t rate him or he’s be still there playing regularly instead of being shipped out

Gareth Bale has always performed for Real Madrid he turns up on all the important games. Yes, injury got in the way and Ronaldo always overshadowed him and Benzema.

Once he was offered whatever he is earning the club wanted him out to balance the books but they treated him like crap, the man can only take so much.

Would I say he's a superstar now? Possibly, look at Aubamayeng and Benzema two players in thirties performing well, all down to game time.
