So I’m thinking of taking a couple weeks away to do this in my van. Anyone rise done this? Or any locals living along the route? I could do with your top tips on what to see, where to go and where to park up. Anyone out there chat to me about it? Give me a holla!

Done this couple years ago, started in Inverness, went west to Applecross and followed the route over the top.

Amazing scenery, some days would drive for hours without seeing another car.

Did it over 10days but would advise longer

Nr. Oxford

We’re looking to do this, or a variation of this mid-September.

We did a whistle stop tour of the North coast about 8 years back, did the whole coast in 2 days from Edinburgh round and down to Glasgow. Absolutely incredible scenery.

We’re looking to make 10 days of it this time round and actually be able to enjoy a slower trip.

Ahhh awesome. That’s the kinda time I was thinking maybe, once the kids are back to school. Taking it slower definitely sounds like a plan there looks so much to take in I don’t wanna feel rushed.

Maybe our paths might cross. Would Be nice to say hello to some fellow fabbers! X
