We are staying in Bowness on Windermere from 22nd to 29th May - any recommendations for good pubs and restaurants after our walks - can be in other Lakeland areas

Never had a bad meal in the lakes in the week I was there!

Whenever we are staying around Bowness we've taken the ferry up to Ambleside for a wander then had lunch and a few drinks in the Wateredge Inn which is right near the ferry point. It's a lovely spot for sitting out in the garden watching the comings and goings on the lake.
