Belfast to Liverpool

Can someone direct me on how to get from the Stena line Belfast to Liverpool ferry terminal in Birkinhead to the nearest train station.Is there a station near the ferry? Or do I have to get a taxi into lime Street station?

Could walk to Hamilton Square station but maybe you will have a case etc, so taxi to square get any train to lime St, James St and Moorfields are the first stations on the liverpool side.

Depends on home much time you have. You could get a taxi to the ferry, then have a sight seeing trip along the Mersey.
