Need more info on what your likes are, city hustle and bustle, pubs clubs and arcades, quiet beaches or packed ones etc

Bournemouth and the new forest area is nice and not as far as the trek to cornwall, you can go naked bathing at studland, sandbanks beach is gorgeous, brown sea island ferry, you can drive to Portsmouth for a day (hour and a bit away) for the historic docks, swanage is ok to wander around, corfe castle if you like oldy worldy, tank museum for hubby

The Isle of Wight is good as the ferry feels like you're going abroad.

St Austell

Cornwall will be a bit quieter than it is currently, once the kids return to school - plenty of places to visit, plenty of places to stay...

Inglewood, Cheshire

Inglewood

Inglewood is a house to the north-west of the village of Ledsham, Cheshire, England. It was built in 1909, but is dated 1915.[1] The house was built for Frederick H. Fox, a Liverpool millionaire who made his fortune in marine insurance.[2] As of 2011 it is a hotel called Inglewood Manor Hotel.[3] The house is mainly half-timbered, with stone dressings, and brick chimneys decorated with diapering. It is roofed with Lakeland slate. Its architectural style is late Arts and Crafts.[2] The house has a rectangular plan, with three fronts in two and three storeys. The entrance is on the east front, which has eight bays; the south and west fronts each have five bays.[1] On the south side is a balcony overlooking the gardens.[2] The house is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building.[1] Also listed Grade II are the south and west terrace walls of the garden,[4] and the east terrace walls and a pergola.[5]. This is where I’m staying at the moment . .

All sounds good, besides the Isle of Wight, both Wightlink and Red Funnel ferries have nearly doubled their prices to try and recover what they lost when the lockdown started, I definitely won't be returning to the island, hotel's have increased their prices too.

You mention Studland Beach, Portsmouth also has a nudist beach at Eastney (the eastern end of Portsmouth) by the old Fort Cumberland
