Sounds like it's going to be quite busy down there. What with the weather being all nice and that coming up. Would love to be able to sit on the beach and relax for a while.

Its going to be crazy this weekend goven the weather forecast. When tbe Knoll Beach car park is full there is an overflow on the village side of the Knoll House Hotel so you get an even longer walk. Unless you're lucky and get into the Knoll Car Park or park near the bus stop just after the ferry you are in for a walk!

I cycled past knoll beach car park this morning at 8:10 and there were queues to get in as it wasn't open yet. Anytime after about 10am it's just chaos down there. Just about to cycle back that way and I'm hoping it's quieter but doubt it.

I would also advise avoiding the chain ferry as then you have to deal with the sandbanks beach traffic as well and when it's busy the ferry will only take half loads to Sandbanks

Hi,

Just been on a motorbike ride around the peninsula and staying in Boscombe.

I got up early while it was still cool and by the time I took the chain ferry back at 9am it was packed.

Bournemouth and Boscombe best avoided sadly!

Returned today Monday..got there a little later at about 2ish. Even quieter than Sunday less couples so seemed to be more males but nice that none even came close to us. Did see on male getting told off for his actions but nothing too bad. Weather did not last but we will be returning when we can.

Your lady mentioned the town you travelled from and also teased L as he was struggling to get his shoulders under the water.

He did eventually and she commented that he wouldn’t want to leave the sea for the whole day.

OMG i must read my replys before posting. I make so many typos, lol

We returned on Tuesday, the beach is amazing and the feeling of being naked and chilled was incredible. We will be returing again.
