near Rushden Lakes

We’re off for a little four night cottage break in a village just north of York in a couple of weeks. We’re planning a couple of day trips to Robin Hoods Bay, Castle Howard, etc, but what to do to for entertainment in the evenings and nights..?

Suggestions on a postcard please...
