Is this beach worth a visit. Is there any play on here? We are in the area for a long weekend starting on the 17th September

It’s definitely worth a visit if it’s warm. I went a few weeks back and had a great time, very good mix of people as well!

Very nice relaxing beach, although haven’t seen any play when we’ve been there.

Is St Osyth better/nicer than Shellness? Not booked hotel yet for Thursday to suit a beach visit in the afternoon.

All over

There is limited parking at the end of the unmade road, best place to park is at the café along the sea wall and walk down.

Is shellness still busy? Was excellent pre Covid with a great mix of people, I haven’t been since they dug up the car park!

The place is dead.

You only get a handful of men at best, they also get so bored that they play with each other
