In a place not far from Exeter

Hoping the weather is nice enough at the weekend to get to the beach. Not been to either Studland or Slapton - pros and cons please and anything we need to know. Sunbathing and naughtiness is in the cards.

We go to Slapton, haven't tried Studland. Slapton always has plenty of space but there's always couples on the beach naked sunbathing. First time we went we didn't take wind breaks, but this is what everyone seems to do, it gives you more privacy should you want it! There's often a wandering naked man who is looking for some action but it's nothing too much.

Make sure you park at the Strete Gate car park. Once on the beach head to your left, the beach is huge and the far left tends to be more frequented by gay males.

Suggest you head about half way along and pitch near the sea.

It will be obvious that you are in the right area and have fun.

Ps car park has been getting full quite quickly especially at the weekends.

Was there on the weekend got there early but all the free parking was gone taken up with clap out campers looked like they have made it there new home also large groups camping on the beach and leaving large amounts of rubbish think it will be hard to have fun unless you have wind breaks but same as the message before get there early when we left the carpark at 4 to hey where still people trying to get a space and cars where park up the hill which will probably get you a ticket.have fun
