Hey!!

Looking for some ideas for a mini break to somewhere that’s good for Christmas markets and somewhere we can also squeeze in a bit of swinging fun too... Any destinations, club recommendations etc!!?

Costa Blanca Spain...

Dortmund could be an option.

One of the best Christmas markets in Germany and there is one club (Schickeria) that isn't far from the city centre (quite rare here)

It also tends to attract a younger crowd.

Look for the FKK as this is a Nudist Club where guess what it is a Swinger Club.

Many Germans speak English so don't worry about that.

Berlin has many different Christmas markets so there will be many to choose from. It is also well priced.

Have a lot of fun.

No that is not correct and in the wrong place could get someone into an awful lot of trouble.

FKK which stands for Freikörperkultur (free body culture in English) started out as a naturist movement but has now become pretty much the German term for Naturism. NOT Swinging.

There are many FKK sauna's/clubs that are strictly naturist only (people take their kids there FFS) and any sexual contact will get you, at best, thrown out, at worst arrested. Our local one is even owned by the town hall.

There are other establishments that have hijacked the FKK term that are actually brothels. "FKK club 100 girls "Etc on the advertising.

We do not know of any proper swinger club that advertises itself as an FKK club. Some will have FKK nights but that is about it.

Swinger clubs are legal here and don't carry anything like the same stigma as in the UK. So they don't have to disguise themselves.

Hamburg had a Christmas market and there’s a sled that flies over with Santa throwing sweets to everyone below

It’s a nice surprise a few days later when you out your hood up and find a chew!

Lille, from 6th to 10th December (via Eutostar) hotel in the middle of the xmas market there and 2 clubs to pick from, both 500m away from hotel

Hamburg is fab, we would rate it better than Berlin and we are frequent travellers to both. The Xmas market on the Reeperbahn is a market with a difference and we had a great evening there last year. x

You could look at Valkenburg in the South of the Netherlands for Christmas markets as well. You should also find plenty of swinging clubs in the surrounding areas.

There are quite a few clubs in the surrounding area but (like most German cities) little or nothing in the city itself.

Other than Berlin or Hamburg to do German swinger clubs from a city centre base you really need a car.

Closest to Reeperbahn is Club PSP.

A little further out but reachable is Club Why Not.

Why Not is the only one we've been to in Hamburg and we had a good night in there. However it was a few years ago and things can change.

Be careful on and around Reeperbahn itself. The hostess clubs will rip you off unmercifully and any that offer free admission are to be well avoided.
