Hi has anyone had experience of stopping in a Hostel when travelling alone to Amsterdam. Thinking of going this weekend. Harold.

I haven't but the going rate this weekend for dorms in hostels is high due to the Marathon festival. I was left to look at hostels and decided to just stay at a hotel a 4/5 stop trainride away from Sloterdijk. Good luck if you're still looking.
