Crete nudist beaches

Heading to Hersonissos agin in a few days time. Can anyone recommend some good nudist beaches reasonably near. We will have a quad bike but don’t want to go huge distances.

Went to one last year that involved a rock climb to get down to it which wasn’t ideal.

The one you describe is awful, aside from the climb down, youths stand on the cliff and throw stones. Sorry there's nothing really within reach from where you're staying.

Yeah it's not easiest place to find a place to get kit off. Nothing on North coast. Head due south of Heraklion to south coast. There are some lovely secluded coves at the end of some really serious hair pin bends near Keratacambos. Head off out of town towards tsourous and you'll see a little car park and a footpath down to beach. We hired a jeep and found our own little spot to sunbathe with our Kit off.

Also there is the red beach near Metala, however Mrs N made the mistake of trying to get to it in flip flops and we had to abandon half way there . The walk to it is very very steep and rocky. Even half decent sandals we'd have made it though. grrrrrrr

Very nice day out at the Naturist beach at Plakias. Soft sand, cool water & 140 or so other naturist. No play going on but didn't really look - lack of cover I guess - so no merekat behaviour which was great.

Went back to my normal beach for late sun & saw a few more naked folks which is good too.

All over tan coming along nicely.

Fulani beach, Hora Sfakion.

Got to be the best naturist beach in Crete. Hard drive over the mountains. But we’ll worth it.

Our last day in crete we have found somewhere to get our kit off and it's lovely. We walked to the very end of rethminon beach and there is a little headland there were two other couples and a single guy naked so we guessed it was acceptable. The easy way to get there is to walk along the beach road until there are no more buildings and you will see a sandy car park layby if you follow the track it brings you out at the right spot. There are large rocks in the sea which break the waves and form little pools which you can cool off in. If you are near rethminon it's well worth a look

We stayed on the south coast (about middle of the island) and headed to the beach to find it was completely and only ours for the day.... no one else there... perfect!!

2 nudist beaches in poleochora south west Crete.The beaches are either side of the village.The one on the eastern side is a drive along the unmade road,The western side is far end of village beach.
