Short break to Cape Verde

We are going to Cape Verde at the end of Jan and are looking for advice from people that have been or are going same time.

Are they any beaches/bars that are more suitable to play?

Any other tips would be appreciated.

I went to boa Vista in May, beautiful place but nothing at all outside of the resorts. There was a fab couple staying in my hotel (came up on who's nearby) and we met up for a drink and chat in the pool tho.

I went to Sal in Feb, same in terms of there being nothing outside the resorts. I didn't find anyone fab based, but I did have a fun tinder date.

You might get lucky with “who is local” it is all males currently although met up with one for a chat. Had a laugh.

I am sure it depends what your looking for but it seems to be a regular stop for British males heading to or returning from a location much further south!
