If anyone is interested we attended Club Emmanuelle last weekend. It was €40 (€30) to get in with free drinks and substantial buffet meal food. The place seems subsidised by single men who they charge €110! If you are a member of Joy club it's only €30. Sadly on this occasion the welcome wasn't very warm with no offer of a tour or anything (perhaps the guy was bad at multitasking or short staffed). There's a changing room to the left of the front desk.

Inside it was on 2 levels, quite small inside but with a large paved patio garden with outside sauna, large outside play bed, and un-heated pool. Playrooms upstairs, including glory holes. The outside bit would be great in summer, but last weekend on cusp of Sept it was a bit chilly in the clubs dress code. The clothing requirement is white tshirt/boxers for men - or German swinger style leather top! Women can wear whatever slinky number they wish.

The dance floor was small, quite busy, but suffered from erratic music - sometimes the playlist just came to a halt!

Smoking was inside and out, which perhaps wasn't necessary with the patio outside area right by the main bar.

It was a good mix of couples, though we didn't quite feel any vibe. The issue for us was that there didn't seem to be any lockable playrooms that we could find, and the upstairs playrooms contained several lurking patrolling single guys and no couples making out which didn't make us feel particularly amorous. We notched it up to experience and left after about an hour as we weren't feeling it.

The club was clean and smart inside and on a different night could be fun. We don't mind single guys, but found that the playrooms were a little overpowering with them and didn't personally feel comfortable playing there with just the pair of us and 6 guys. We'd have had a better time if there were lockable rooms, which we didn't think there were.

Being brutally honest, we had a good time in Frankfurt, and had a walk along the river (there was a food market thing going on) and walked to the Palmengarten, but we wouldn't go back, as found it lacked a little of the charm/personality that a lot of other German cities have. All our opinion.
