Went to Kos last year. There is a nudist beach a few miles from kefalos. Think it was magic beach or something similar. Huge beach with 2 bedso parasol and windbreak. You could walk down the beach with a loved one for some fun in the dunes Another beach on the opposite side of the island is Tigaki. Hoping to try this in August. Hope this helps x

Crete

Google Captain Barefoot for info on all Greek islands. This is a naturist site not a swingers one but an excellent guide none the less.

We've been going Tigaki nudist beach this week and it's been great. We were wondering though if anyone knows the significance of people putting sticks that are about 2 feet in length upright in the sand? We had 2 guys on separate occasions hanging around us, first was Greek and about 70 years old, other was about 40 and not local because of his white bits. We noticed the second guy placing a stick upright in the sand next to him, then we realised we had one upright next to us, so we pulled it out of the sand. Both guys eventually left after both having wanked off. The men tend to wear straw hats and they keep their underwear in them when they go on patrol, harmless enough but weird. There must be significance in the upright sticks in the sand.

Hi twoofus,I have been going to Tingaki nudist beach for 7 times out of the past 8 years and have never noticed the upright sticks before and don't know of their significance,I will look out for them next year and keep a watch on them to see if they are some kind of marker for fun in the sun, best wishes.

Hi, hope the weather is still good! Fly out on Saturday. If you don't mind me asking, whats the name of the beach you tried at Kardemena?

Both the beach at Kefalos and the one on the outskirts of Kardamena are good.

Kefalos is a bit quiet for night life but there is a good selection on bars/restaurants in Kardamena.

Never been to Tingaki so couldn't say.

I discovered them on a beach near Lagos in Portugal. Turns out the beach was a well known gay cruising area and it seems the upright sticks are indicators of "fun to be had here". In my innocence, I assumed people left them there to mark where they had been the day before so they could go back to the same place lmao!

We seemed to be attracting a lot of attention and wondered if it was to do with the sticks or Claire's arse on show

Thanks for the info, it was Claire that spotted them, she never misses anything that's sticking up

Lancashire/midlands travelling

Bumping this up to see if any Kos holidaymakers have any updates. It’s my intention to try Tigaki nudist beach whilst in Kos from 8-22nd August. Be a buzz if nothing else, but secretly hoping for a bit more!
