We are visiting Hamburg in early November - does anyone have any information about Swingers' clubs there? We've tried doing a few searches but the info is either sparse or badly translated! Are most clubs dressed or wet? Open to just couples or just some nights when singles are allowed? Do entrance fees usually include drinks or not? Any experiences or information gratefully received!

The only club we've been to in Hamburg is club "Why Not" and that was about 3 years ago.

For us it was a pretty average German club, not up with the best, but good enough.

Like most (nearly all) German clubs it included a buffet and all drinks.

Also like most (again nearly all) German clubs there is a dress code and you are expected to get changed on arrival. Sexy revealing outfit for the ladies and usually tight lack boxers and black T shirt are a minimum requirement for the men. Normal street clothes are at best frowned upon or, more likely, you will be told to get changed or leave.

Why Not is a dry club but for clubs that have a wet area the wearing of towels is usually only allowed in the wet area itself.

EYS is great. It's a very nice swingers bar ran by a great English lady. There's no entry fee just a nominal min bar spend. Something like €10 or something. Nice playrooms. Good decorations & top tunes. We had a great time.

Thanks for all the comments - unfortunately we won't be going now due to Ryanair's current flights fiasco! We hope to reschedule sometime soon so your advice isn't wasted
