Costa Blanca Spain...

Dortmund is by far the best one in our area.

Visited Dresden a few years ago and that one was very good as well.

Munich, Germany

Not really a Christmas market but there is a Chocolate festival in Tubingen that is very Christmas market like.

Apart from that I'll probably visit the Stuttgart and Munich markets.

Yes the giant tree (it's not a single tree BTW. It's made up of many smaller ones) is the centrepiece and the market is generally regarded as about the best one in the NRW area.

Ryanair fly direct to Dortmund from (at least) Stanstead and I think Easyjet still do a Luton flight, although I haven't looked recently.

If you want to take the car it is between 4 & 5 hours from Calais or Dunkirk and 2/3 hours from Rotterdam or Amsterdam.

There are some very good swinger clubs in the area as well.

A good one on the outskirts of the city and over half a dozen more within 20/30 mins drive. Including a couple of five star super clubs.

Munich, Germany

I used to live in Switzerland and then after moving to Germany I went through Basel quite frequently. I've never been there for the Christmas market though. Maybe this year.
