FabSwingers.com forum: Can anyone suggest a North Europe destination to satisfy the single male swinger appetite?

Hi all,

I'm looking for a long weekend destination with plenty of clubs willing to welcome foreign single males.

First of all, I have some German language so I would be doubly interested in German speaking destinations in particular but I'm looking at places where I can try a few clubs over several nights so major cities will be more attractive to me.

I'd like to hear what Scandinavia and Czech Republic in particular have to offer too.

I'm a non drinker and unless this post attracts other's who fancy popping over at the same time (maybe a female so we can enter clubs as a couple and share the experience?) then I'll be travelling alone so I'm not interested in going to anywhere dodgy or unsafe.

I'm flexible when to go but it's likely to be the end of November or start of December probably.

Also I am not interested in brothels or prostitutes and I'd prefer not having to take out a second mortgage to gain entry to the club too.

Any suggestions?

You could try our area of Germany.

Within 30 minutes drive from us are around a dozen clubs (four or five of which could be described as superclubs) and nearly all are single guy friendly. Some of them even have "Herrenuberschuss" (Mr Surplus or Mr Excess) parties and the more single guys the better.

Most are in small towns rather than the big cities but if you have a car (and you will need a navi) you could use Dusseldorf, Dortmund, Cologne or Essen as a base and you would need to drive no more than around 30 minutes to any of them.

I've got into trouble in the past for posting links on here but if you send us a pm I will give them to you.

Forgot to add. If you like the brothels the Vulkanstrasse area of Duisburg is very good.

I've not driven abroad before so I'd prefer somewhere where I could be central to clubs and travel either by foot or a short taxi ride at most rather than driving. Many thanks for the suggestions though.

The Scandinavian countries can be a bit on the pricey side. Well, I consider £8 for a burger pricey let alone the cost of drinks inc soft drinks. France, Germany are ok but again, watch the prices. Personally I prefer Holland. either good old Amsterdam or Rotterdam. Plenty of clubs bars cafe's etc that are reasonably priced and safe for singles to visit.

One of the mates suggested Amsterdam too. Have you got any details about Amsterdam clubs and how single males fair in the clubs?

Just had a look at the main clubs in Amsterdam and €70 for a single male is unreasonable to me even with two drinks thrown in.

It's not looking good for North Europe in general and really makes you appreciate how good I've got things at home.

On a Saturday night a single guy in Germany would have to pay on average about the same but that would include free bar and meal. There are one or two clubs that are a bit cheaper and there are good deals midweek and on Sundays.

Spanish clubs average around 50€ with a couple of drinks.

It's unfortunate they tie in drinks and bump the entry price up cos I don't drink alcohol and I only drink water.

I'm just recently back from PDI Gran Canaria and generally I was paying €20-30 with the first drink thrown in.

I pay £20-30 generally at home though from what I can tell this is really not representative of many of the clubs in the UK and many charge an annual membership fee and an entry fee.

It is what it is and if people are willing to pay that price they'll charge it. They are businesses so supply and demand and market forces dictate prices pretty much.
