Been to Copenhagen many times, just back this morning from being there for the football on Thursday.

There's a great Irish bar called the dubliner which is usually reasonably priced on the Leaderstribe which is a shopping street, the food is ace too. Is also recommend Rosie McGhees nightclub which is just around from the train station, both are reasonably priced. However down at Nyhavn which is the main touristy drinking area so be prepared for pricey drinks

If you go away from the centre then pubs aren't dear, I can't remember the names of them but they were friendly and welcoming, the few we visited were at least, lol

There's no shortage of touristy things to do, the bus tours are great and in several languages. There's also boat tours which I haven't actually been on as I've yet to find my sea legs but they look like they'd be great fun too

If your taking any kids or either of you are big kids at heart then there's the Tivoli theme park which if memory serves me right is the oldest theme park in Europe if not the oldest in the world

Thank you for your reply. We are going on the Baltic cruise sailing from Copenhagen, no kids. Would be nice to meet a nice guy who can show us around, he will obviously be rewarded for his time ?? looking forward to trying out the Irish bar.

You can't go straightaway

Cityswingers mainly for local people

It is really great place and high maintenance
