Amsterdam advice

We are booking up to go to Amsterdam but not sure what airport to fly to and where best to book a hotel, don't want to be out the way from main attraction's , any advice would be much appreciated xx

The main airport is Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, either just get the train straight into Amsterdam which will cost you around 10 euro each, Iv stayed at the park plaza Amsterdam hotel or the renaissance hotel amsterdam both are central and only 10 min walk from the station. If you book with the hotel you can also arrange pick up and drop off to and from the airport if you don't like the train option it will be around 100 euro rtn.
