I and a female friend are visiting Amsterdam in a couple of weeks for a couple of days. We are looking for a few good recommendations for places to go, preferably in the city and preferably value for money. We are both quite young and she would be more comfortable with a relaxed environment as she is newer than me to the swinging world, also somewhere that wouldn't frown upon a young couple.

Also Any good regular bars, restaurants and other such night-life recommendation would be appreciated.
