I'm not put off all the islands...

Just Samui - way too many tourists, too commercialised.

Phuket I'm just not enamoured with.

Koh Chang I love

First time I'm headed for Krabi

Have you tried langkawi in Malaysia, I go there often,better beaches & scenery than any Thai beaches & a lot cheaper & quiter
