We're staying in a 'normal' hotel in cancun and wondering if it's possible to go to Desire to use their club or other naughty clubs there?

I'm fairly sure the don't allow day guests but if you wanted to spend the money you could probably book one night to give it a try.

A number of people do book this way. It is often not much more to book a cheap package to Cancun than it is to book flight only. Just then book one of the Desire special offers (like book three nights and get the 4th free at certain times of the year).

This way, you can have a bit of a normal holiday, dissappear for a few days of naughtiness and then reappear in the family hotel and just pretend you had a tummy bug to all those who wondered where you went

You cant get day passes to Desire.

look for the website that contains the words originalresorts as well as Desire. That is their own website. Some travel companies create their own mini Desire websites and so it can get confusing.

We have used Kenwood Travel who will do the flights and hotel as a package. Google is your friend.

No Swinging Clubs albeit there are places that you should not miss. Coco Bongo as an example - what a riot (albeit in a 100% vanilla way).

A previous poster mentioned Temptation and having stayed at both we can summarise the difference as follows:

Desire - Expensive, high end, sensual indulgence for couples.

Temptation - Good value, adult version of a Club 18-30 party for couples and some nob head single american guys.

im travelling to rivieria maya on the 19th aug for 2 weeks and meeting up with a few cples whilst here....got a few nights planned in playa del Carmen if you would like to join us for drinks and laughter

We have been to temptation 7 times love it it's a fun sexy party hotel . Desires is more up market hotel
