If you do not want to eat out all the time , the butchers sell really nice pre cooked food. There is an excellent choice including lasagne and salmon. All you need do is slot it in the microwave for ten minutes , open a bottle of wine and you hsve a lovely meal. It is even better if your accommodation has a harbour view as you can admire it as you eat.

Dont leave any bags unattended on the beach.I had mine stolen from there last year and had to spend the night sleeping on a cold concrete floor unto I was able to contact the agent. Hand bags have also been stolen in clubs and bars. Whilst theft is unlikely , remember that not everyone is there for fun. Thieves do not take holidays .

Costa Blanca Spain...

Not a lot of people realise that on Google maps/earth you can take a "walk" around the village. The camera vans were allowed in 2 or 3 years ago (out of season of course) so if you want to orientate yourselves before you go just drop the little yellow man into the street and have a wander around.

"First time I've ever seen Gymnos completely empty!"

It has become a bit of a ritual for us to eat there on our 1st night, so we can assure you it wont be empty on the 4th.

Do you have the chilli oil drizzle on the pizza? Fab - especially with a bit of Mayo.

We are both on a major weight loss programme on the run up to Cap so we can have croissants every morning and pizza and beer whenever we feel like it.
