Just want to know what people are like? Especially with outsiders. I kind of get the impression due to the size everyone knows each other, and is it expensive? Thanks

we had no problems at all with the locals, it's a great place we really enjoyed our time there. I wouldn't say that it is expensive don't forget that taxes are lower than the UK so many things are less expensive. go and enjoy it!

My Dad was born in Guernsey so over the years I have been and I have distant relatives there.

Its a lovely little place, charming, pretty and quaint but with quite a 'yachty' culture. The locals are friendly - its quite British.
