We usually go to Cap in July. But circumstances will prevent that next year. Has anyone just got back from Cap ? How busy is it? Are all the bars and clubs open? Is it warm? Any information gratefully received.

Hi both,

We were there just last week... Got home on Saturday ....

Weather was good all week... Some days went cloudy in afternoon but we had a good few days of completely clear skies and 23 plus degrees...

Went a bit quiet mid week with some of the bars, clubs and shops closed Mon / Tues & Weds... But many were still open and seemed busy enough ( although it was our first visit and fully realise it was 'out of season' )...

Hope that helps ... We would return again end of May...

We were there last weekend for a long weekend. We've been there for the last week in May for quite a few years and found the weather to be extremely variable. The weather last weekend was far better than we'd experienced in previous May visits. We decided to go over the weekend this time as the place becomes really quiet mid-week. We got the impression that clubs were now only open weekends in May and even Melrose was shut on thursday night. We went to Juls Friday and Saturday night and it was busy with more than enough people willing to play.

We'd certainly go back in May again but only for a long weekend.

As above, but May has 5 Bank Holidays so is busy. The clubs open an extra night on the bank holidays. As said weather can vary but we had no rain now for 3 weeks! Also a lot cheaper too. Please note some clubs off the quarter open week days.
