Cap d'Agde - FAB meeting place

OK, so here is the plan...

Let's choose a place in Cap d'Agde... say for example the bar opposite La Pilouterie at Port Ambonne and say that Every Friday morning 11am - midday, June through to September we have a Flirty Fab Social Meet? The allocated tables are those immediately on the left as you look at La Pilouterie and the bar next to it?

I dont mind where it is just need to have a place that will be easily identifiable and memorised. These cafe's make sense as they are outside, serve all kinds of drinks and everyone knows where they are.

It is up to us to get this going and to maintain the momentum so let's start to see regular reminders in this forum. May be a bit early to start yet... But it is always good to have a plan!

Costa Blanca Spain...

Great idea.

We haven't booked for this year yet, still waiting for some final checks from the doctors, but still hope to be able to make it this year.

The only reservation we would have is holding it on a Friday. Most bookings are Saturday to Saturday so anyone there for a single week would be turning up for the meet on their last day.

We would suggest Sunday or Monday.

If on Sunday, bearing in mind the time, was going to suggest calling it The Sunday Service, or, Church Parade. However, in these politically correct times, other views are always welcome.

Brilliant idea but who is actually about at 11.00 on a Sunday in Le Cap

The cafe also gets busy with the locals revving up for Sunday lunch so our vote is Monday

Mondays at 11am sounds good.

What about the venue and particular seating at the venue? What is the name of the cafe across from La Pilouterie? I have completely forgotten it. Does that place sound good? Right as you walk in towards the commercial centre - the tables immediately to the left.

We like Organ Practice on a Sunday. You will have to wait a few days for check on the name of your suggested bar. Will also be checking the pumps for Le Pression choices!

Totally agree and was intending to suggest a(t least one) Fab meeting/gathering/party when there in September.

Perhaps, given the numbers on here intending to visit the Cap and the fact that some, including me, go for less than a week, we might suggest a daily gathering time and spot, evolving from the one large weekly event?

I was involved in a successful group meeting similar to this idea with members on another forum some time ago.

We were annoyed at seeing so many wearing clothes that we had a long evening/nighttime session - naked - outside Bar 1664 one evening and up to 20 of us gathered for chat, drinks and later fun!!!

Another little consideration we might think about is some form of (discreet) Fab identifier that we all could wear/display while there - of course the mobile Fab access could partially do this job if everyone kept it on!

What do people think?

We do like the Palmaire bar, use it often when we are at the Cap, Monday sounds favourite, would suggest Johnnys terrace but don't know if it will even be there this year.

That is up to you to push it. We just have to agree the venue, place and time and then you/we can push the meet on here.

Looking at the full list thread the numbers are quite fragmented until well into June.

Come evening, when its a little cooler and darker, I rather enjoy the fact that some ladies take to lingerie or a revealing dress.

It IS actually possible to have too much nudity.

Don't get me wrong, I see no real issue with people putting something on during the evening - I do myself as it's normally a little chillier and the ladies do certainly make a great effort, which is most enjoyable to experience.

Two things which do jar and seem to act against the principles of a 'Quartier Naturiste' as opposed to a simple 'plage naturiste' are:

(a) The seemingly increasing number of people wearing something around the village in daytime - after all we have to pay a fee to gain full access to the village, so one might anticipate everyone playing along.

(b) The odd looks and occasional comment that one receives when naked around the commercial part of the village during the evening/night. I've personally experienced that and have observed others being so treated.

Our meeting was more of a peaceful statement that the place was indeed a fully naturist centre than any an effort to suggest that people shouldn't wear clothes during the evening.

To my knowledge, the campsite is more of a truly 24/7 naturist location than the village. I haven't stayed there, but have visited friends, so my experience is limited.

The commercial area gets so busy at night that I for one wouldn't want to walk around totally naked. It's impossible to pass through the busy areas without rubbing against many others, what's wrong with that I hear you ask, but it can be intimidating, and a naked woman is vulnerable to opportunist groping. Not everyone onsite is well mannered, and teenagers can be rude. Anyone agree?

I don't know if it's quite that bad - certainly I've never seen any of that - most tend to just look and admire (and perhaps lust after)!

In any case, however regrettable, I currently would not be advocating anyone go around the commercial centre naked during the evening/night. It's just the way it seems to be.

We would agree with you.

Mrs has been groped quite a few times, and she wasn't naked (well nearly ) On busy nights the narrow walkway past the entrance to Melrose can be a bit intimidating.

So, have we decided on Sunday lunchtimes, at La Palm Ré opposite La Pilouterie....?

Or will it be Monday...?

To be honest, in July and August we think every lunchtime would be ok.

There's normally a good crowd there most days, so with all us lot as well it would be a great party on it's own...

There's often a fetish crowd (or at least, those with an adventurous or 'alternative dress' sense) on this terrace. We've never asked if these were planned meets or just by chance.

Should we turn up with our forum names on 'Post-its' on our foreheads....?

Beccy, I think we're of a similar mind - I'd certainly agree with a daily 'date', stretching into the first two weeks of September too, even if only a small number turn up on some days, but, at least, Fabbers will know that there is a definite meeting place to call to if they're at a loose end and would like to share a chat, drink etc.

As to some identifying mark or symbol, I still haven't cracked that one yet - a post-it might just be necessary, lol!

Perhaps we could all paint the nails on our little fingers!!!

Oh, we'll definitely get something organised for September, when we'll all be there, but perhaps not organise it until late August, to keep it fresh in the mind!

Let's also see what reports come back in the meantime, so that we may learn for later...

This sounds a great idea, we are camping between 19th June and 7th July looking at the list of Fabbers in Cap during this time there are currently 30 entries, could be big sexy fun Sundays. Can we decide how we agree a venue, we understand Jonnies will have the terrace back in operation always overflow into the pub. Maybe the swingers sign is we all wear our watches upside down, lol

Well it is there and it just needs people to make an effort to go. Maybe people are finding more than enough local action going on without feeling the need to meet other Fabbers? Or maybe, up until now, there just has not been the volume of people to make it work.

From next Monday onwards right through until September there will be at least 20 or so Fabbers in town at any one time, plus those who are resident so maybe things will change.

Cafe La Palmerie (entrance to Port Ambonne) opposite to La Pilouterie. Monday and Friday 11am through Midday.
