Define 'cheap' we've been going for the last 5 years and have never found any thing cheap in Cap D Agde .

Good question. An American cpl have paid 2300€ for a week in jardin d eden. No one met them they had to find their own way around - probably too cheap (tongue in cheek). It's always a premium on the quarter, but you can get accommodation off the quarter for 85€ a night in August - of a high standard. Meals 13.90€ for 3 courses is pretty cheap - but not available on the quarter. All about choices - but the smart money is off the quarter!

near Bergerac, France

Some friends left Cap yesterday. They paid €2000 for a distinctly average apartment in Port Ambonne...

Same as above, no airport transfers included, although they are frequent visitors so know their way around. But it's still another €70 on top.

And that's before school holidays kicked in...

The prices just don't seem to be putting people off, although the campsite was looking quite empty yesterday.

We found an apartment in the clothed part of the town for under £500 for the week in August. It seems to be available for the rest of August. We will only use it as a base while we spend most of our time in the naturist village.

Costa Blanca Spain...

Take a look at naturist.de they have a last minute section that can save a few quid but August is August, so nothing will be cheap.

like the quarter, some places are very basic, at that price it's a bargain in August, but there maybe add ons: tourist tax, cleaning, linen, towels. It's a bit like Ryanair, what they start off with is not the price you end up paying! Good luck hope it's a good one.

Oh just a point to note. It's a legal requirement that everybody has public liability insurance in France. Make sure that your travel insurance has it, and that it will also extend the cover to your apartment. The French landlords do not have this cover as standard, as everyone has their own cover, just a precaution.

Probably need to book a long way in advance for August. I have booked three different weeks with Peng Travel . August is about 600 pounds in Port Venus inside the naturalist area.

Nothing cheap in Cap d'Agde. Fortunately really, keeps the Oiks and riff raff out just those who are permanently skint for the rest of the year can go....
