Hi does anyone know if you can go naked on the beaches in this area apart from the adult only hotels?

No you can't. On many beaches even topless women may get asked to cover up. Of course if you happen to be there on Spring Break you will see plenty of "tits oot" at the party bars in Cancun but of course that is different innit.
